“Out Islands” - Painting on Silk - $150

This image holds wonderful memories for me. This is its third incarnation! First my photograph, then I made a silk screen print, and now this painting on silk. I can still hear the wind in the palm fronds. The moment is captured here forever on silk with dye. These special textile dyes become an integral part of the silk fabric after it is steam set for permanency.
This original artwork is framed in a silver-toned metal frame. The overall framed size is 11x12.
